For each of the following situations, indicate what type of AAC is used and justify your answer:

Case 1:

Maria has autism and communicates by pointing her finger at some pictures that have been prepared for her.


 

Case 2:

Juan communicates through sign language.

 

Case 3:

Pepe is a boy with a organic dysphonia that affects his articulation of words and pronunciation. He is working with therapeutic rehabilitation and communication is supported through the use of sign language words.

 

Case 4:

Luis is a boy who communicates through his eyes with a person standing in front of him. He uses a transparent vertical board with a central hole and photographs pasted on the ends.
