The water cycle

The water cycle is the movement of water from the sea, to clouds, to rain, to rivers, to the sea and round again.

An aquifer is a layer of sand or rock that soaks up water like a sponge. It is an important source of water in some countries, because fresh water can be pumped from wells drilled into them to supply water.

The water cycle

As you can see we have three main ideas. Evaporation, condensation and percipitation.

What are they?

Let's check this movie:

So we can say that evaporation is a process by which water gets converted from liquid to gas.

What about condenstaion?

Let's check:

So we can say that condensation is the process by which water vapor in the air changed into liquid water.

Now percipitation:

So percipitation is water released from clouds in the form of rain, snow or hail.

Condensation is a process by which water vapour makes clouds.
