INTRODUCTION
Today we live in a multicultural world, with people that came out from different countries and cultures. Many families are running away from poverty, insecure societies and war (eg. the refugees).
Throughout this webquest you will learn about the different cultures that live in your city so you can understand them better.

TASK
At the end of this webquest you will have to answer the question Is multiculturalism a problem or a benefit?. To answer that you will work in group in a different culture, searching for they way of life and history. The final product must be accessible to other people so that ideas are spread.
PROCESS
Activity 1
You have to answer the question: what is multiculturalism in 2 words? Go to Mentimeter and use the code 428970 to answer that question. Now you have 3 minutes.
Activity 2
There are multiple cultures in your school. We are going to work on 5 different cultures: Brazilian, African, Turkish, Libyan, Portuguese, Russian, etc.
Form a group of 4 students and pick one culture randomly.
Now you are going to do a group discussion about the culture you are working on. To do that write a new topic on the notebook application what you know about that culture.Click OK to start.

Activity 4
Create your final product - make a presentation to the class using Google Slide presentations or a Canva presentation (canva.com) and make it accessible to other people of your class.

Write 1 or 2 benefits and problems you think that exist with multiculturalism in the society:

Go to the notebook individually. Create a new topic with the name of the country you chose and write a small conclusion on what you have learnt about living together with other cultures.
