Clean Water

Introduction

Clean water is essential for life but it can't be taken for granted everywhere and for everyone. Natural processes of the planet produce clean water constantly. This is called the hydrological cycle. In some climate regions, like deserts, water supplies are naturally very small. But even in the areas with enough precipitation, there can be lack of clean water. Human actions like overuse of water, pollution of groundwater and surface water bodies can lead to this. Some people use water (from wells and fountains) for consumption and for hygiene without treating it correctly. If water is not purified, a lot of prejudicial diseases can appear. To provide clean water to everyone it is important to stop overusing water and to make sure that we don't spoil water supplies by littering, sewage water and pollution. Water cleaning techniques are essential in this. By this webquest you will familiarize yourself with the processes behind clean water and  you’re be able to make a system to purify water easily using filters and solar ovens which can make water safe for the consumption. Besides, we want to improve hygienic conditions with a simple and natural sanitation system.
