Nancy-Bird Walton

Nancy-Bird Walton is a pilot from Australia. When she was little she wanted to fly. At the age of 18 she took flying lessons. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, a famous pilot, was her teacher. She wanted to travel around the world and be a pilot.

She worked hard and at the age of 19 her dream came true. Now, she travels to different parts of the world, she travels to places like the United States or Europe. She sees a lot of world, she knows different cultures and she helps people to move.

Traveling by plane she is happy, but sometimes she travels using other means of transport such as the car, boat, plane, train, bus or taxi or you can travel on foot.

Today, she is known around the world. She is the youngest woman to be a pilot.
