World Football Cup

Introduction

 

 

The World football Cup is taking place in Moscow next month. You are a member of the committee. Discuss where the next World Cup should take place taking into consideration certain criteria: available football fields, places of interest (e.g sights), previous experience of a country in organising sport events, hotels and easy access to the venues.

In order to decide you have to compare football fields in various countries (seats etc), which country has the best experience, hotels, flights, places of interest.

 

Process

Step 1

Work in groups of 4. Do the following exercise

Work in groups of 4. Watch the videos about the trasport system in each country and answer the questions

Work in groups of 4. Decide which one of the above countries should host the next World Cup in 2022 based on the relevant information from the previous activies.
