Now It's time to write by pairs a descriptive text.

Remember some characteristics of descriptive texts.

• The use short sentences for clarity of description.
• The use of verbs present tense.
• The frequent use of the verb to be.
• The richness and variety in the use of terms.

 For this activity you will need a model. Pay attention to this example:

"Flowering plants are classified as high-class plants. At the adult stage, they produce flowers that develop into fruits and seeds after bein pollinated and fertilised. Tulips, water lilies, mangos and bananas are flowering plants."

Introduction. Flowering plants are classified as high-class plants. 

Description. At the adult stage, they produce flowers that develop into fruits and seeds after bein pollinated and fertilised.

Exemplification. Tulips, water lilies, mangos and bananas are flowering plants.

And now try to do the same writing a text, explaining: what is a volcano? You have 15 minutes to do it.
