POLYGONS

A polygon is form for a close polygonal line and the space inside it and It is made for several elements:

SIDE: Each one of the elements that form a polygon.

VERTEX: The point where two sides meet to form a corner.

ANGLE: A space between two lines that meet in one point.

There are many kind of polygons, so we clasify them in different ways:

First classification, considering their sides, polygons can be:

REGULARS: The sides an the angles are equal.

IRREGULAR: Sides and angles are not equal.

Second classification, considering the number of sides, polygons can be:

TRIANGLE: Polygon with three sides.

QUADRILATERAL: Polygon with four sides.

PENTAGON: Polygon with five sides.

HEXAGON: Polygon with six sides.
