3. CONVERTING A DECIMAL NUMBER IN BINARY

To represent a binary number system we can only use the digits 0 and 1, as we have seen above.

The simplest way to convert binary is by dividing the decimal number and the quotients | ˈkwəʊʃnts | that we obtain by 2 until the quotient is less than 2, that is, until the quotient is 1. The last quotient will be the first binary digit. And we get the rest    | rest | by taking the remainders   | rɪ.ˈmeɪn.dəz | obtained in reverse order, we take first the last one and we will write the first one in the last place.
