Different approaches on photography: Posed photographs, snapshots and images capturing movement - 2h CLIL module

Stage 1

1) Watch the following videos and take notes of the main ideas or attributes you find of each kind of photography. Take your time to understand fully the videos, please note there is a transcription and all words are connected to on-line dictionaries by clicking on them. Check the key vocabulary attached. (35 minutes)

2) Now go to the hot potatoe's link and do the matching exercise! (15 minutes) 
 
3) Create groups of 5-6 people (10 minutes)
 
 
Stage 2
 
1) With a camera, take one picture of each kind with your group. Be creative! (25 minutes)

2) Talk with your group about the difficulties you found in each kind of image. Brainstorm together about their characterisitics and answer the test. (20 minutes)

3) To close the class all images taken from the groups will be displayed and students will have to guess what kind of images are and the intention behind (15 minutes)

 

Homework: Answer the questionnaire attached in the links buttons.
