How can we do a concept map?

Before start doing our concept map, everyone has to watch this video 

• Starting concept map activities

Step 1: Make a list of 10 to 15 wordsrelated with the topic animals:

For example:

amphibians

mammals

reptiles 

birds

fishes

living things

dolphins

sharks

crocodile

parrot

frogs

(clic to look for the meaning of these words)

Step 2: Let's going to play with the words! Conect these elements in the digital blackboard

Living things

Amphibians          Mammals            Reptiles              Birds             Fishes

Frog                dolphin                crocodile                parrot          penguin

Living things --------> Amphibians -------------------> frog

Living things --------> Mammals  ---------------------> dolphin

Living things --------> Reptiles  ---------------------> crocodile

Living things --------> Birds  ---------------------> parrot

Living things --------> fishes  ---------------------> penguin 

(you can use different colors)

Step 3: to make the concept map more undestandable, complete it with some pictures or drawings

Step 4: Try to create your own concept map!
