Renewable energies

The aims of this unit are to recognize alternative energies and distinguish the type of energy they produce and to show the main advantages and disadvantages of each one.

Stage 1

Read the information in the links provided (Energy basics, Renewable, Biomass, Hydropower, Geothermal, Wind and Solar).

After that, create a concept map and write a summary with an example of each energy source.

Stage 2

After reading all the information, in groups of 3 or 4 students, prepare a discussion about the energy sources.
