What are the different characteristics that allow you to define problem solving? Is it possible to know what each one means in order to fully understand how to develop these skills?

  1. Listening skills means focusing on effective interpersonal communication, as in active listening: an essential part of the interaction between people that is defined by the ability to focus on the other person, to be able to listen carefully and completely to everything that is being said to us. Active listening means trying to memorize what the other person is trying to communicate to us and avoid doing any other activity during the conversation.

  1.  The ability to evaluate means being able to make a critical analysis with the aim of improving and understanding what corrective actions to put in place to solve problems. It is a fundamental characteristic of problem solving because it allows you to fully understand the nature of problems and how to deal with them.

  1. Analytical ability means the ability to take a problem and be able to break it down into smaller elements, identify all the flaws and try to improve them one by one. Just think of a computer that will not turn on. This ability allows us to get to the root of the problem. In this case, the computer might not turn on either because the power supply does not work, the cable is faulty ,or  because it was used incorrectly  as a reult of  it being bent badly. In this case, you will be able to trace the problem back to its source.

  1. Communication skills in so many aspects of your life, In fact, you may have realized how important it is to demonstrate that you can manage effective communication. Communication can be of two types: verbal and nonverbal. Verbal communication involves the words that are spoken, the intonation, and therefore, concerns the exchange of information between two or more people through the use of words. Non-verbal communication, on the other hand, does not involve speech but the visual element: gestures, facial expressions, posture and movements. Communicating in the context of problem solving means being able to express and share ideas and feelings clearly and efficiently.

  1. Ability to make decisions when faced with choices, In fact, making decisions means evaluating the different options, weighing the pros and cons, and choosing in a safe, conscious and constructive way. This ability allows you to analyze the problem avoiding any kind of bias, and is especially evident in conditions of uncertainty.
