- Stay on the level. If you see some inappropriate behavior in your workplace, don't follow it. For example, if your coworkers are gossiping about some coworkers, stay on the level.
- Do not gripe about work. It is normal to sometimes feel burned out at work. But griping about in the workspace won't help the situation. It may make it worse.
- Put out a welcome mat. Whenever someone new arrives at the workspace, be helpful and welcoming with them. Try to avoid to act like if you were part of some “old times”
- Don't pass the buck. Mistakes are going to be made. If you commit one, don't pass the buck. Accept your responsibility and talk about it with your bosses. Trying to comprehend the problem and its ways to solve it
- Follow up with people. It takes less than a minute to write a follow up mail. And it brings the verification that a work is done. When a task involves several people. And people rely on others' outcomes, having follow up communication helps a lot.
